Big, dark sky, tiny stars,

Moonlight outlining shimmering grass,

Close distances, confusion of reality.

And why do I remember you?

Dream.

Big nothing, flashes of chaos,

Conceived worlds, relaxed desire,

Unfulfilled longing, aspiration.

And why do I dream of you?

Day.

Bathed in light, pure white,

Sometimes a spark, sometimes a crash,

Hurried breath, delusional fear.

And why am I thinking of you?

Round.

A perfect whole, the same distances,

Mutual guilt, hurried pursuit,

Persistence of repetition, drought.
